Hollywood's most expensive engagement rings

We always look at celebrities fashion; we admire and scrutinize. We update ourselves with what they wear, how they wear and where they shop. In times, we try to copy their looks. However, it is as much fascinating as fashion updates to take a look at celebrities’ engagement rings. A little peek on how some celebrities say that big Yes! and how they sport that big bling is terrifyingly inspiring.

1

Just like every one of us, celebrities get engaged because of love. Of course, it must be love! But because they are public figures, everyone would be looking at the engagement ring. The first question that everyone asks is “How much?” It's inevitable that people compare the estimated price of their bling. Some celebrity betrothed turn out to be big spenders when it comes to love. They show how much they are willing to spend for the woman that they intend to spend the rest of their lives with. On the other hand, there are also these practical celebrity betrothed that are not very extravagant; spending only reasonable amount for a reasonably beautiful bling. Yet, we cannot rate the degree of their love towards their celebrity fiancĂ©es mainly based on the amount of their engagement rings. After all, a ring, regardless of its symbol and worth, is just a ring. There are so much more in a marriage than just a bling.

Do you remember the time when there was a huge gossip about the Bennifer engagement ring? When Ben Affleck proposed to Jennifer Lopez, the estimated cost of the ring dropped jaws. The first rough estimate of the ring was $3 million. However, the latter estimation by experts settled at $1.2 million. That was a lot. No wonder the talk about that ring dominated the gossip columns across the country. Yet, despite the attention that the ring generated, it didn't, as it turned out, top the list of Hollywood's most expensive engagement rings. In fact, it is said to only 6th from the top.

Here are only some of the most expensive celebrity engagement rings.

3) Mariah Carey, Other Half: Nick Cannon.

5) Jennifer Lopez, Other Half: Ben Affleck, State of Union: Never Married

6) Celebrity: Beyonce, Other Half: Jay-Z , State of Union: Married

There are still many of the most expensive engagement rings in Hollywood that we are not privileged to see. It would be neat to get a glimpse of Paris Hilton's 24-carat emerald cut diamond ring from Paris Latis on his promise to wed her which is said to top the list of the most expensive bling in Hollywood. Despite the engagement being canceled only after five months, their engagement ring still remains at the top.

Some ladies are just privileged to have a rare and very expensive stone as a symbol of love.

A closer look at stylish but affordable Promise Ring

ringreview

“I give you this ring as a promise to you, a promise that I'll be here and I'll always be true”
~ Elizabeth from the poem Promise Ring

How heavenly would it be if the love of your life all of a sudden pulls out something from his pocket; that something would then appears to be a little shiny thing, would recite this poem of Elizabeth while slipping a ring on your finger?

I am a kind who doesn’t own jewelries. I don’t wear them and never had idea about them the entire twenty-five years of my life. This is because of religious reasons. However, the very first time that a ring has touched my finger was when an engagement ring was slipped into it. I was told a promise ring should come first; but in my case, that was skipped. Until now, seven months away from the big day, we still debate if we really need wedding rings.

But then one day a tiny white box was delivered to me. Inside it was a promise ring. I knew it was not from my love. It was from an acquaintance that runs a jewelry shop. She wants me to have a look at her ring and she’s eager to know what I think because she values honest opinion.

Excited to see the beauty inside the box, I eagerly unwrapped the box and lo! The beauty was still hidden inside a pretty blue box. I was anxious if the ring would fit. At size 5, it is perfect. Since I have a bias preference towards white gold and simple but elegant looking bling, my promise ring came in the form of CZ Fashion Band. A simple white gold with the same thickness all around the circumference, the ring was made a stunner by its featured CZ all around.

I would not assume that everyone knows what CZ is. Cubic Zirconia or CZ is a man-made imitation diamond. Since 1976, CZ has become the important competitor to diamond because of its low cost, durability, and close visual likeness to diamond. Comparing the bling of my CZ ring to the bling of the diamond of my engagement ring, I could hardly find difference.

I think that if I wear this CZ ring, my fingers would have to adjust to its thickness and weight. But of course, the elegance it brings would be worth all these necessities.

I’m sure you girls are curious about the price? CZ Fashion Band is supposedly worth $123 but its sale price right now is $63. You might ask how they manage to produce quality and elegance at such low price. Simple. Have you ever seen LuShae Jewelry advertising on TV? No. They avoid costly tv advertising and reseller margins. Therefore, if you purchase your ring from them, you actually buy directly from the manufacturer. No overpricing in between.

If you are scouting for the best shop where you can get your dream promise ring, engagement ring or if you simply want to treat yourself for a stylish and affordable ring, you better check LuShae Jewelry Shop.

Will you say "I will"? Then hear me for your ring!

I was never into rings. But one night, sobbing against my pillow feeling extremely disappointed due to being left behind by our fancy dinner cruise ship, which was supposedly a celebration for our anniversary; strong arms took me into embrace, wiped my tears, and slid a white gold band with diamond on my finger. "Will you be my wife?" The sight of a ring sparkling against my fingers had changed my life that very night. It was then, that my obsession towards diamonds started.

“We shall find peace. We shall hear angels; we shall see the sky sparkling with diamonds.”
~ Anton Chekhov

You girls must have noticed that for several times I spoke about diamonds? It's because I am always in loved with them. Their beauty never failed to leave me in awe.

Delicate Diamond Engagement Ring
This beauty that I met very recently grabbed my attention because of her unique designs and details. She has two round accent diamonds, which at a total of 1/10 carat, both sparkles at their best; yet only supplement the brilliance of the center stone. I love especially her petite frame; she would look very elegant on my slim fingers. She can come either as a white or a yellow gold. But if you girls heard me before, you would know that I'll take her in the form of white gold.

“And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.”
~ Bible

So girls, if I love diamonds so much? You can guess that I love sapphire as much. They are as beautiful as the most perfect stone my eyes could behold.

Round Pink Sapphire Accent Stone Engagement Ring
Here is another beauty that made me breathless when I laid my eyes on. Who wouldn't? Look at her intently. Imagine yourself sliding your finger in her and let her embrace you for the world to see. Magnificent, excellent, ... oh, I can't find exact words to describe the beauty this creation exudes. But one thing I know, that these twin sapphire is nothing ordinary. This ring is one of those beauties that you would love to have on your finger when you say "Yes, I will."

“My mother says I didn't open my eyes for eight days after I was born, but when I did, the first thing I saw was an engagement ring. I was hooked.”
~ Elizabeth Taylor

Girls, I can go on and on talking about engagement and rings, blame it to my own engagement if you wish, however, it is this shop for engagement rings that I stumbled upon on my search for rings and wedding bands that deserves your blame, honestly. They have all the most beautiful rings that you can ask for and they come in affordable prices not to mention personalized almost custom-made because of their uniqueness. It's like you get what you want. Engraving, colored gemstones, classic four-prong solitaire, or intricate side stones engagement rings with pave set diamonds. You name it, you get it.

Of course, I know that this message must reach the gentlemen out there more than the ladies. Otherwise, aren't they the ones that propose? But girls, you must learn to make it known to your love the type of ring you prefer for engagement in a very subtle way so that it does not appear like you're pushing him. I'll share to you my technique how to on our next gossip girl post. So stay tuned.

What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined... to strengthen each other... to be at one with each other in silent unspeakable memories.
~ George Eliot
